You will fall in love with the newest musical to hit Londons westend in 2018, Strictly Ballroom The Musical, starring Will Young, Jonny Labey and Zizi Strallen at the Piccadilly Theatre London.

Strictly Ballroom The Musical is the uplifting story that inspired the world to dance, which is based on Baz Luhrmann’s 1992 multi award-winning film Strictly Ballroom.

Featuring hits Love is in the Air, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and Time After Time from the original 1992 film, this uplifiting tale follows maverick championship ballroom dancer Scott as he defies all the rules of the ballroom competition to follow his heart. He teams up with left-footed partner Fran as the pair set out to win the legendary Pan Pacifics his way.

Singer Will Young plays Wally Strand, Zizi Strallen as Fran and EastEnders’ Jonny Labey as Scott Hastings, Strictly Ballroom The Musical will open its doors at the West End's Piccadilly Theatre from 16th March 2018.

Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie will direct and choreograph the production. Strictly Ballroom is based on the original Australian musical created by Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin.

The cast also includes Michelle Bishop (Sunset Boulevard), Ivan De Freitas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Gabriela Garcia (In The Heights), Charlotte Gooch (Dirty Dancing), Richard Grieve (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Liam Marcellino (Cabaret), Stephen Matthews (The Lion King), Fernando Mira (ENO), Eve Polycarpou (In The Heights), Lauren Stroud (Top Hat) and Gary Watson (Jersey Boys).
